Daily Menu, January 10th, 2009

Breakfast:
Three pork sausage patties
Three fried eggs

Kept me full till late afternoon!

Lunch/Supper
Chicken salad -- leftover dark meat chicken with diced celery and a little red onion, plus mayo.

Extra Supper:

Leftover Ham, Cheese, and Broccoli Puff

Snacks:
Sugar free dark chocolate
Sugar free Reese's cup

Beverages:
Tea
Sparkling Water
Dry red wine

Totals: 2118 Calories; 136g Fat ; 102g Protein; 29g Carbohydrate; 6g Dietary Fiber

So I went a little over my 20 gram usable carb mark. You'll notice, too, a big jump in calories -- my body was balancing out a few really low calorie days. Also, I'm deliberately trying to increase fat as a percentage of my diet, both to stimulate ketosis (still flirting with trace levels) and also because I just plain think it's healthy.

Sorry I haven't written much except these Daily Menus. I've been working on stuff for the Low Carb Cruise. FINALLY got my notes to hand out squared away about a half an hour ago. Now I have to write and practice a Power Point presentation, heaven help me. I've never used Power Point!

They'll like me even if I'm technically inept, right?
