Daily Menu, June 13th, 2008

Haven't done this for a while! Time to get back to it. Yesterday I ate:

Breakfast:

Omelet, filled with mushrooms and onions sauteed in olive oil, and about an ounce of liverwurst. So yummy, I made the same thing this morning!

Lunch:

Egg salad, with celery, scallions, green pepper, light mayo, and mustard.
3 Finn Crisp crackers

Dinner:

Pan-broiled rib eye steak
Green beans almandine

Snacks:

Sugar free dark chocolate
Sugar free Reese's cup
1/2 cup plain yogurt, with vanilla extract and stevia/FOS blend, and a couple of tablespoons Fiber One cereal stirred in.

Beverages:

Tea
Sparkling water

You'll notice the lack of my usual dry red wine. Sadly, Lyme disease messes with alcohol tolerance. I'm on the wagon for the duration. Phoo.

Lyme also makes it harder to snack; I have to take my antibiotics on an empty stomach three times a day. I also can't have dairy products within an hour before or after taking them.

Anyway, my totals came to:
1871 Calories; 138g Fat; 89g Protein; 52g Carbohydrate; 21g Dietary Fiber; 31 grams usable carb.
