My Shangri-La Diet Experience So Far

Okay, I've been drinking extra-light olive oil in the middle of the night, and again when I wake up, for maybe four or five days now. I haven't lost a bunch of weight, but it does seem easier to keep from creeping up from recipe development. I haven't been doing all-meat; I've included veggie and nuts and such ad lib, and I'm not gaining. Facebook fans know that I've really been struggling with that.

I'm also definitely getting fuller faster. I made the mistake of having a little extra Mean Old Rooster Chili last night, and was uncomfortable full for hours. As I write this, I've had my usual big Sunday breakfast, and now find myself staring at the remainder of my customary post-breakfast chocolate -- I had a small piece already -- uninterested in sticking it in my mouth, 'cause I am crammed. Dana, put back uneaten chocolate? Was that uncured bacon I just saw fly past my window?

So I guess it's starting to work as Seth Roberts predicted . I'm going to keep it up for a while, though I may switch over to coconut oil, because I think it's far more healthful.
